Go Brand Yourself isn't taking clients any more, so if you're looking for personal-brand or executive coaching — or just somewhere to start with a career question — here's where to look instead.
Find an accredited coach
These bodies set standards for the coaching profession and can point you to a coach who holds one of their accreditations.
- EMCC UK — the UK's professional body for coaches, mentors and supervisors; sets ethical standards and runs accreditation for practitioners.
- International Coaching Federation (ICF) — the global coaching body; its "Verify a Coach" tool lets you check a coach's ACC/PCC/MCC credential.
Free support and advice
None of these charge for a first conversation.
- National Careers Service — free UK government careers advice: skills assessments, course search and one-to-one adviser calls, for any career stage.
- Acas — free, impartial advice for employees and employers on workplace rights, flexible-working requests and resolving disputes.
- Mind — mental health charity with a free helpline and local services, useful if burnout or stress is part of what's driving a career change.
- Citizens Advice — free, independent guidance on work, money, benefits and legal rights, in person and online.
This is a starting list, not a recommendation of one over another — check each organisation's own site for what's current before you get in touch.
